Beautiful photos ! The sky you’ve captured is truly majestic 🙂
Happy WW !
Thanks, Grace.
I love the plane flying into the sun!
I wish I’d been carrying my DSLR to get better shots but I’m still happy with the result from the iPhone. I think the plane was an A380. It was very large though of course you can’t tell from the scale of this. Sometimes getting a certain photograph depends on a magical moment.
Ooh beautiful! I love seeing them in the sky just wondering where those people are all flying to!
Thanks Kirsty. I do too!
Great photos!! 🙂
Thanks, Thea.
The first one is my fav, such gorgeous colours
The sky was such an amazing colour that evening and layered with clouds as the sun set. I took heaps of photos.
Love, love, love.
That first one – wow!
xxx
The sky was such an amazing colour that evening. Quite a magical moment.
Is it bad that the second one took me back to 9/11? It’s still raw in my memory after the 10th anniversary. Isn’t it sad that a picture of a plane can evoke such horrible thoughts.
Lucikily your last photo snapped me out of it.There’s nothing like flying through clouds. Beautiful photo!
Oh, I’m sorry about that, Penny, but I don’t think you’d be the only one feeling that way at times. I get that tinge if I see planes flying low over the city buildings but not usually in more open places. Glad the last one lifted your thoughts above that.
Love all of them! The first one especially.
Thanks, Amy. I turn into an excited kid when I hear and see low lying planes. It makes me excited for travel. I guess you might call me a plane spotter!
Now I just want to get on a plane and fly somewhere warm! Thanks for inspiring a little daydream 😉
I daydream a bit about travel when I see planes too. Makes for a nice micro-break!
Love the colours in that first one. Just goegeous. x
Thanks, Kel. The orange was amazing and showed up so much texture and layering in the cloudy sky.
Love your photos. Especially the last one. I often wonder where people are going too.
I know, Tina, I do too. Then I wonder when it’ll next be me!
Gorgeous photos as always!
Thanks, Maria.
The first one is my favourite! What a classic shot!
The first one seems to be the most popular. The clouds and setting sun painted an interesting sky. Thanks, Sif.
love the clouds! thanks for joining in WW.
Thank you, for hosting the meme. There are some wonderful pictures out there.
Beautiful photos , love the title.
Thanks, Trish. I love the title too. I like these sort of photos of planes because of their symbolism – travel and adventure – and the memories they evoke of my past travels.
Oh i love that first one!!
That one seems to be the favourite. Thanks for dropping by.
Yep, another vote for the first one here. What gorgeous colours!
Thanks, Amy. Some sunsets are more ordinary, but some are just this magical.
Lovely pics!
Thanks!
Would love to be getting on a plane and discovering new cultures
My whole life has included travel and/or mingling with many cultures through friendship and work. I, myself, am a child of parents from two very different cultures. It’s such a huge part of my life. I hope you get the chance one day. You might find some great new subjects to photograph too!
Great photos!!!
Thanks, Daisy.
great photos! i love the colour of the sky in the first one! xx
Thanks, Jody. The first one was a magical photo opportunity. I snapped like crazy till the sun set and the colours faded!
what a beautiful set of photos..love first one.
Thanks, Nayana. The first one seems to be the “winner” in the popularity stakes.
