I used to be self-conscious. A combination of growing up, pregnancy and becoming a mother changed that. You go out with spit-up on your clothes, let your daughter put stickers on your face and take a photo for all to see, dance in supermarket aisles with your kids, talk to yourself, let the jelly-belly baby tummy hang out, mindlessly hum tv theme songs like “Peppa Pig!” while working on important office projects. It’s a whole new phase of life being a parent, and it’s really changing me like nothing much else has before.
How has becoming a parent changed you?
